Evaluation Question 6

What have you learnt about technologies for the process of constructing this product?

Technologies
Firstly, we used a camera to film the entirety of our opening sequence where we had to learn to use this to get the best shows and quality possible so our product was as good as we could possibly make it. We had chosen a high quality camera that Connor owned so that the shots looks as good as possible and we could get the best out of our product. This was good for our group as we learnt how to film in a different way to a phone camera. Also, this was a reliable way of getting good shots that were smooth. We found this quite simple as Connor showed us how to use it and it helped to get the whole group involved in our media product.

Another device that we had to use to create our media product was the apple iMac. This was used for our written tasks along with the editing for the product itself. This was used because they were provided to us due to their software availability and that they are very able to make great media products. This means that it would be a great tool to use when creating our overall product. This was not my first time using an iMac, as i have previously done editing on them before. This means that i was able to use this device with no troubles or dilemmas. It is quite clear that professionally made media products have also been used with similar devices to this one.

Finally, Final Cut Pro is the editing software in which our media product was fully edited. Yet again i have used this software before in creating media products. This software is clearly professional and so it is also evident that more professional companies have made product with this software. It was simple and easy to use with very few bugs. Our product only had a small difficulty saving but that problem was easily fixed. I am happy that I used this software because i am aware of how to use it and i can then manoeuvre my way around it without struggling.
